YOGGI DOGGI BOUNCES BACK... CAN HE FIT INTO THE COMPETITION???





Yoggi Doggy is one of the very few people who started raga or dancehall in Ghana and got featured by many hiplife musicians when the genre was born in Ghana.

Then he took a break from active music. But Flex newspaper gathers that he is back to the music scene, this time more energized than before. He is out with his new singles Gyae Mowu Nka and Buwupa.

Speaking on Pluzz FM morning show AM Pluzz, the artiste explained his absence in the industry stating that, he moved to London to pursue his musical career, contrary to what people thought that he had completely stopped music.
In an interview with the show host Sammy Flex, Yoggi said music is his life and he has the passion that for so he cannot do without it. He added that the new releases are to tell his fans that he is not dead in the industry. According to the London – based dancehall artiste, though his colleagues Shattawale, Stonebwouy, Samini, Jupiter and others are really on the fast lane with the dancehall fever, he believes music is not a competition but a motion and that he Doggy is not planning to return and fight for kingship or throne.IMG_1396

He also announced his coming back to Ghana soon to continue his work and stay in touch with his fan. Yoggi who featured on Obrafour’s Maame and has been known for his popular songs such as Oldie Abena, Woko Ye Akye, Woni Me Lady and many others which made waves and still thrilling in the music industry, stated that, people are following the dancehall music all over London and people are enjoying African music everywhere.

He is under a new management called Beyond Band in London which is pushing him to come back stronger.
Yoggi said he is thinking of featuring artistes like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebouy and Tinny on his album when he returns to Ghana to keep the fire blazing and urged his fans to keep supporting his dream.
